RSVP form

A head count you can trust. Guests answer yes or no, and only the ones coming are asked how many they bring and what they eat, so a decline takes one click instead of a page of questions.

This is the actual form the template creates, shown as your respondents would see it.

Are you coming?

Let us know before the closing date so we can plan.

Replace this paragraph with the details of the occasion: what it is, the date and time, where it is held and anything guests should know.

We send your reply here.

Conditional

Including yourself.

Conditional

Anyone catering for a number they do not know yet.

  • Weddings, parties and anniversaries
  • Association general meetings and members' dinners
  • Company drinks and staff events

What is in the form

Eight items, with the follow-up questions already made conditional.

  • An introduction paragraph for the date, time and place
  • Guest name and email address
  • Attending, yes or no
  • How many people are coming, shown only on yes
  • Dietary requirements, also shown only on yes
  • A free-text field for anything else
  • A required privacy consent

Features it uses

Conditional questions

Someone who cannot come answers one question and is done. Nobody fills in a menu choice for a dinner they are missing.

A guest list that counts itself

Sync to Google Sheets or Excel Online and the running total stays current. Needs Pro or Business.

Confirmation to the guest

Guests get their answer by email, which doubles as the reminder of what they said.

Making it yours

  1. 1

    Copy it into your workspace

    The conditional rules come configured.

  2. 2

    Write the invitation

Put the date, time, place and dress code in the opening paragraph.

  3. 3

    Set the closing date

Schedule when replies close, so the caterer gets a final number.

Common questions

Can guests change their answer?
They submit again and you keep both replies, with times. Close the form when the number is final.
Can I cap the number of guests?
Yes. Set a maximum number of submissions, and add a waiting list behind it if you want the overflow in order.
